About the program
For many people, the private pilot license is their first step towards becoming a professional pilot. For others, it is the final goal to have the privilege to take their friends and family members on local joy rides or distant vacations. At Adventure Air we will cater your training specifically to best meet your goals. The FAA requires that a minimum of 40 hours of flight time be accomplished before being eligible to become a private pilot. This usually takes anywhere from 2 to 9 months depending on how often the student chooses to fly.
Price starting at $7,460.
That minimum price is based upon the FAA’s minimum flight experience required. Very few people attain the skills required to be a private pilot in those 40 hours. According to the FAA, the national average is 75 hours of flight time to attain the private pilot license. Don’t let that number scare you though! At Adventure Air, we are proud to have an excellent track record of producing private pilots with less flight time than that national average.
