01 — About Adventure Air

Built by a pilot, for the next generation of pilots.

Adventure Air is Oklahoma City's premier flight training center. Founded by a Chickasaw pilot with a single airplane and a vision for a different kind of flight school, we've grown into a full-service training operation serving the entire OKC metro and surrounding states.

What makes us different isn't a slogan — it's the airplanes. Every aircraft in our fleet is under 15 years old, equipped with glass cockpit avionics, autopilot, ADS-B, and a ballistic recovery parachute capable of safely landing the aircraft and everyone on board with the pull of a handle. Most flight schools train students on airplanes built before they were born. We don't.

We offer the full ladder of FAA certifications — Sport Pilot through CFII — along with light sport aircraft rental for certificated pilots. Discovery flights are the way most of our students begin. One hour at the controls of a real airplane is often all it takes.

After years of research, we chose Flight Design aircraft for every plane in our fleet. The CTLS isn't a vintage trainer with a glass screen retrofit — it's a clean-sheet light sport aircraft built around modern materials, modern aerodynamics, and modern safety systems.

— What Students Say
I couldn't have asked for a better instructor! Was very patient and passionate with what he does. I never felt in a rush or worried about doing something wrong, it was always just a fun learning experience.
